Zippie Iris is Sunrise’s pediatric tilt-in-space manual wheelchair. Tilt is what lets a child rest, manage pressure, and stay positioned without a power base. It is one of the most common complex pediatric manuals in Canada, and it is configured: seat size, tilt range, hanger, and growth are decisions, not a single box.
We order Iris against a therapist’s spec. A photo of a teal chair on this website is not an Iris. If the child self-propels and does not need tilt, a Little Wave or Helio Kids is a different and often lighter conversation.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification before the order is placed. Battery, seating, and wheel options change weight, range, and speed.
Growth kits only help if the original frame was ordered with room to grow. Send the clinic’s range, not a single width.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
