How special orders work

Every chair in this catalogue is a special order unless the badge says in stock. We do not keep a warehouse of every Permobil, Quickie, and Jazzy. When you choose a model, we source that build.

What you do

1. Pick the closest model. Seat width can be a guess. A wrong guess is cheaper to fix on a quote than after a frame is welded.
2. Send the request. You will not be charged. Tell us the province, a weight range, and how you hope to pay later.
3. We reply with the configuration, the price in Canadian dollars, and a delivery window. If the manufacturer cannot build what you described, we say that.
4. You accept the quote or you don’t. Payment happens after acceptance, by whichever method we have set up — Interac e-Transfer, card, or another option you ask for.
5. The chair is ordered, built or picked up, and delivered in Canada.

Timing

A boxed folding chair is often a matter of days or a couple of weeks when the distributor has it. A made-to-measure ultralight or a rehab power base is often four to eight weeks, and some builds run longer. We do not promise a week we have not confirmed with the source.

What “price confirmed” means

Manufacturer MSRPs on a few Pride models are there so you can see a public reference. They are not our selling price. Options, cushions, freight, and the agreement we have with a supplier all move the number. The number that matters is the one on the quote you accept.
