Convaid Cruiser is the folding pediatric chair with tilt that teams specify when the child needs positioning and the family still has to fold the chair into a car or a bus. It sits between a simple transport stroller and a full Zippie Iris: more supportive than a buggy, more portable than many tilt-in-space frames.
Convaid has several Cruiser sizes. We quote the size that matches the child now and the next size if growth is close, and we confirm transit options if the chair will be occupied in a vehicle. A fold does not mean the chair is crash-tested.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification before the order is placed. Battery, seating, and wheel options change weight, range, and speed.
If the chair spends the day tilted, a folding convenience chair can be the wrong tool. Tell us how many hours the child is in it.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
