Are these chairs in stock?
The catalogue is special order. When a specific chair is actually on hand, its badge says In stock. Everything else is sourced after you choose it.
Do I pay when I request a chair?
No. The request confirms what you want. We reply with the configuration, the price, and a delivery window. You pay only after you accept that quote.
Which payment methods can I use later?
The store is built so Interac e-Transfer, cards, PayPal, and other Canadian processors can be switched on without rebuilding the site. Tell us which one you prefer when we send the quote. We do not guess.
Do you ship outside my city?
Yes. We arrange delivery in every province and territory. Remote communities and freight buildings are quoted with the chair, because a power base does not travel like a small parcel.
Is GST or HST charged?
A wheelchair specially designed for use by an individual with a disability is generally zero-rated for GST/HST under the Excise Tax Act, Schedule VI, Part II, section 14. These chairs are set to the zero-rated tax class. Parts, some cushions, and some delivery charges can be treated differently. This is not tax advice.
Can a provincial program pay for the chair?
Often, for the right person and the right device. Ontario ADP, Alberta AADL, and other programs decide eligibility. We can prepare a quote an authorizer can use. We do not approve funding, and we do not promise a model is on a program’s list.
Can I return a configured chair?
A made-to-measure frame that the manufacturer has started usually cannot come back. We say that on the quote before you approve it. A boxed chair that has not been used is a different conversation, and the quote will say which one you are buying.
Is this a fitting clinic?
No. We source chairs. Seat width, posture, and pressure management for a complex chair should be confirmed by a clinician. The weight range on the request is only so we do not offer a chair under its rated capacity.
