Description
Quantum Edge 3 is the complex-rehab mid-wheel base from Pride, sold as Quantum rather than as a retail Jazzy. It is the chair on Canadian funding files next to Permobil M3 and Invacare TDX. Seat elevation is a known option on many Edge 3 builds. It is not automatically on every order, and we do not describe a base without it as if the function were included.
Edge 3 Stretto is the narrower version and gets its own page, because doorway width is the reason people choose it. Electronics, power tilt, and alternative controls are line items. Send the seating assessment if you have one.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification before the order is placed. Battery, seating, and wheel options change weight, range, and speed.
If an authorizer has written “Edge 3” without “Stretto,” ask them which base width they measured. The two are not interchangeable in a tight apartment.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
