Description
Catalyst 5 is Ki Mobility’s folding ultralight and a regular line on Canadian seating orders. It is chosen for the same job as a Quickie 2: a full-time manual rider who still needs the chair to fold, with enough adjustment to set the ride instead of living with a factory default.
Ki and Sunrise do not build the same chair with different paint. If a therapist has already named Catalyst 5, we order that. If nobody has, we can quote Catalyst 5 and Quickie 2 from the two current forms so the decision is about setup and price, not about which brochure arrived first.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification for the size you need before the order is placed. A different seat width, wheel, or option changes the weight.
Catalyst builds are only as good as the seat-to-floor heights. Include front and rear height if a therapist measured them.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
