Description
APEX C is the carbon rigid frame in the Motion Composites line. It is the chair people compare with a TiLite or a Quickie rigid when they want the manufacturer in Quebec. Motion Composites’ own materials put the weight limit at 265 lb (120 kg) and describe a transport weight under 10 lb on a 16 by 16 inch frame with the rear wheels off. Later brochures have moved the exact transport figure within that range, so the quote uses the current sheet rather than a saved PDF.
Seat width and depth are made to measure, commonly from 12 to 20 inches. APEX A is the aluminum version of the same idea and is usually the one to price first if carbon is a want rather than a need. We quote both when that is the actual decision.

Rigid carbon is a poor match for a rider who needs the chair to fold without removing the wheels. That rider should look at Helio C2.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
