Tracer SX5 is the workhorse Invacare folding wheelchair. It is the chair a facility already knows how to maintain, and it is a sensible first chair when the priority is parts, familiarity, and a straightforward fold. It is not the chair we quote for an active full-time rider.
Invacare has revised standard chairs over the years. We order the SX5 configuration that is current, and we put the capacity and the seat sizes from that sheet on your quote rather than from memory.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification for the size you need before the order is placed. A different seat width, wheel, or option changes the weight.
If this chair will be occupied in a vehicle, ask us about transit tie-downs. A standard chair is not automatically crash-tested.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
