Description
Drive’s bariatric manuals are a different frame from the Blue Streak, not a wider seat on the same chair. They exist because a standard 250 or 300 lb label is the wrong tool past that point. The exact capacity depends on the code — some heavy-duty chairs are rated well above 350 lb, and we will not round that up from memory.
On the request, give a real weight range. We quote the Drive model whose published limit covers the rider plus a bag, and we say if a power heavy-duty base is the safer order because a manual chair at that weight is hard on the person pushing.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification for the size you need before the order is placed. A different seat width, wheel, or option changes the weight.
Door width gets harder as capacity goes up. Tell us the narrowest door the chair has to pass.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Figures on this page come from the manufacturer’s published materials and can change. The order form for your configuration is the one we follow.
Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
