Silver Sport sits one step up from the most basic steel chair. People ask for it when the Blue Streak feels too heavy to lift into a trunk, but a carbon ultralight is more chair than they need. It still folds, and it is still a self-propel frame rather than a transport chair.
We treat the suffix on the model number as part of the order. Drive sells more than one Silver Sport configuration, and the weight rating is printed on that configuration, not on the family name. Tell us the seat width and whether a caregiver has to lift the chair alone.

We confirm the current manufacturer specification for the size you need before the order is placed. A different seat width, wheel, or option changes the weight.
If the chair has to be lifted by one person, say so. A lighter frame is only helpful if the capacity still covers the rider.
A wheelchair has to match the person. Weight capacity includes the rider and anything carried on the chair. Complex rehab chairs should be sized with an occupational therapist or seating clinician. Configured chairs are built after you approve the quote. Once a manufacturer has started a made-to-measure frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled. Boxed retail chairs are different, and we say so on the quote.
