Terms

These terms are a starter for a special-order wheelchair shop. They are not a lawyer’s opinion. Put your legal name on them before you take a paid order.

Quotes

A request on this website is not a paid order. A quote is an offer. It expires when the quote says it does, or after 14 days if the quote is silent. Specifications on the site are manufacturer figures and can change. The quote you accept is the specification you are buying.

Payment

Nothing is taken when you send a request. After you accept a quote, you pay by a method we both confirm. Title in the chair stays with us until the agreed price is paid in full.

Made to measure

Once a manufacturer has started a configured frame, that build usually cannot be cancelled or returned. Boxed chairs that have not been used are different, and the quote will say which kind you are buying.

Delivery and risk

Delivery timing on a quote is an estimate from the supplier, not a guarantee against a factory delay. Risk of loss passes when the carrier marks the shipment delivered, unless the quote says we are bringing it ourselves.

What we are not

We do not prescribe a chair, decide that a person should stand, or guarantee that a funding program will pay. Weight capacity has to be respected. A chair used above its published limit is outside these terms.

Law

These terms are written for customers in Canada. Set the governing province to the province where the business actually is, once you know it. The placeholder is Ontario only because that is where many of the orders will be.
